Summary
This was our first time attending the Nashua South Throwers Meet - a shot put only meet - and it won't be our last. There were 64 boys there from 11 different schools and 40 girls from 10 different schools. We were one of only three Division II or Division III schools there - Windham and Bishop Brady were the only other ones.
We had some excellent performances. Out of our 10 athletes, 6 hit PRs.
On the girls' side Molly got into the finals - top 8 throwers - with a PR of 28' 0.5" and placed 8th. She was the only non Division I thrower in the girls' finals.
Kayley also got a nice PR by 6.5 inches.
On the boys' side we got 4 PRs (see below). No one made the finals but we did have 3 boys in the top 13 places - no other school had more than one !
If this had been a relay meet where they total the best throw from the top 3 throwers per school we would have won, beating Nashua South, Nashua North, Bedford, Bishop Guertin, Windham, Pinkerton, and all of the rest !
