Summary

 

Our first open meet was a success. The boys finished 6th out of 21 with some excellent places.

 

We had season bests in 3 of the 4 relays, including a school record for the boys' 4x160.

 

PRs

 

We had a few big PRs this week:

• Kaitlin knocked .16 seconds off her 55m hurdle PR and 3 stepped through the first 2 hurdles
• James took a total of .22 second off his 55m hurdle PR and move within .03 seconds of the school record
• Tyler finally got his school record in the 55m dash taking .04 seconds
• Iso shaved .04 seconds from her 600m improving on her previous school record

 

Multi-Placing Athletes

• Triples   - Tyler    (55m dash, shot put, 4x160m)
• Doubles - James (55m hurdles, high jump)

 

State Qualifiers

 

We've got one more meet before determinations will be made as to who makes it to states.
